With 8 Royal parks in London, there bound to be something to keep every outdoor enthusiast happy, from boating lakes, golf courses, outdoor theatres and historic buildings to stripy deckchairs these Royal Parks have it all.


Bushy Park


Bushy Park is home to many free-roaming deer and is flanked on both sides by horse chestnuts and lime trees. The park also features an artificial river and a large selection of sporting facilities. Various children's activities take place in Bushy Park.


The Green Park


The Green Park is a great place to sit and soak up the sun. Spanning 47 acres and is a peaceful refuge with its mature trees and grassland, it is a great place for sunbathing and picnics in the summer months. So pack a picnic, kick off your shoes and enjoy some peace and quiet!


Greenwich Park


Greenwich Park is the oldest of the Royal Parks, and contains several historic buildings and it also has a fantastic view from the top of the hill. When you are here you can architecture of the Royal Observatory, the National Maritime Museum and the Queen's House. Hyde Park


Hyde Park is one of the biggest parks in London and its home to the Serpentine and Rotten Row, and the first artificially lit road in England. With the Serpentine Gallery, the Diana Memorial Fountain and open-air events each summer, there's always something to see and do in Hyde Park.


Kensington Gardens


Kensington Gardens joins Hyde Park at the end of the Serpentine. Highlights of Kensington Gardens include the Italian Fountain Gardens, the imposing Albert Memorial, Kensington Palace, the famous Peter Pan statue and the seven-mile Diana Memorial Walk.

The Regent's Park


Regent's Park includes an Open Air Theatre, a stunning rose garden, a boating lake, children's playgrounds and a selection of cafés and restaurants, not forgetting the extensive London Zoo! There's enough going on in this spectacular park to keep you entertained all day along.


Richmond Park


Richmond Park is the biggest park in with many walking trails, parkland and riverside paths. It was the former hunting park of King Charles I, it still features roaming deer and other wildlife. The views from the top of the hill are so stunning they are protected by an act of Parliament. There are also two public golf courses in the park.


St James's Park


Bordering the Mall, St James's Park has a truly regal air. From the bridge over the large lake you are treated to a great view of Buckingham Palace and Whitehall. The park is a great picnic spot on a royal itinerary and it's lovely to hire a deckchair in summer and listen to the music in the bandstand.
