Bank of England Museum


The Museum can be found within the Bank of England and it traces the history of the Bank from its foundation in 1694 to its role today. At the Museum you will find are gold bars dating from ancient times to the modern market bar, coins and a unique collection of banknotes, as well as many items you might not expect to find - such as the pikes and muskets used to defend the Bank.  Admission is free and includes a museum guide.


HMS Belfast


The HMS Belfast is one of the largest surviving examples of Britain’s naval power and is now moored on the Thames. The HMS Belfast was the first ship to be preserved for the nation since Nelson’s HMS Victory. The HMS Belfast is best known for her role during the Second World War in supporting the Allied troops on D-Day. From the Captain’s Bridge to the sailor’s mess deck, operations room and engine rooms, visitors will hear her battle stories and experience what life was like for her and her crew. Kids Cookery School


For something to do on one of London’s rainy days, why not warm up in the heat of the Kids Cookery School. Here your kids will learn how to prepare healthy dishes, find out about food from different cultures, and even learn about basic nutrition, and health and safety. The Kids Cookery School runs after school clubs which require advanced booking and open cookery lessons during the summer. At Chessington World of Adventures, your kids will do just that. LEGOLAND Windsor
